comiza

Two templates that do not need a build step.

Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No framework, no dependencies, no npm install, no config file. Unzip the folder, open index.html, and you are looking at the finished thing.

Both are free, for personal and commercial work, including client work.

The Kestrel template, showing a split hero with a headline and product image.

Kestrel

A full SaaS landing page. Ten sections.

Sticky nav, split hero, logo wall, feature grid, numbered steps, testimonial, two plan pricing, FAQ, closing call to action, footer. Around 700 lines of CSS and 90 of JavaScript, all commented.

  • Dark mode, follows the system setting, manual toggle
  • Responsive to 320px
  • Skip link, focus rings, WCAG AA contrast in both themes
  • Rebrands from one CSS value
The Wren template, showing a typographic portfolio with a project list.

Wren

A one page portfolio. Deliberately small.

Intro, selected work with thumbnails, a short history, contact. 260 lines of CSS and 20 of JavaScript. Editorial and typographic, with no cards anywhere, just rules and space.

  • Dark mode, follows the system setting, manual toggle
  • Responsive to 320px
  • Entrance animation, off under prefers-reduced-motion
  • Keeps a small credit link in the footer

What you are getting, plainly

The images are placeholders and you must replace them.
They come from a random photo service. They are not licensed assets, they are there so the layout renders while you work. Search for picsum.photos in the HTML to find them all.
No fonts are bundled.
Both use your operating system's interface font. That keeps them fast, and it means there is no font licence to worry about when you publish. Swapping in a webfont is one line.
No tracking, no external requests.
Once you replace the placeholder images, the page loads from your own server and talks to nobody.
You may not resell them.
Build whatever you like, for yourself or for a client, and charge for your work. You just cannot sell the template on as a template. Full terms are in the download.

Want to hear when there is a new one?

One email per template, no more. No newsletter, no marketing, and you confirm by clicking a link before anything else is ever sent.

Downloads do not need this. It is only for hearing about new ones.
